Destructive wildfires in California have been dominating the news. Powerful hurricanes in Florida, Texas, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico have left millions without power. These events have had significant and damaging impacts on people, homes, schools and the environment resulting in injury, death, destruction leaving people without power and water. Energy Equality is working feverishly to raise funds to send portable solar powered energy bundles to assist firefighters, first responders and people in impacted areas.
